Ever since I was a kid, the idea of home meant that you lived with loved ones on a piece of property that rooted you in a community.  I was born in the Manila, Philippines and grew up there until I was 12 years old and my family immigrated to the United States, and settled in Southern California.  At first we lived with my father's sister and her family, then moved to an apartment, then to a condo, then to a home in La Puente where I spent my high school days, I rented during college, moved to a new family home in Eagle Rock, lived in a Boys dormitory at a private school where I taught and finally am currently renting in the 6th Ward of New Orleans for the past 6 years.  I'm rooting myself in New Orleans as my forever home, and so I've started to do so slowly but surely based on what a musician makes in this city, sacrificing and saving to reach that final goal.  Thanks to the generosity of a music lover, fan and friend, Roman Greene, I have acquired a piece of land, bought and paid for and am now in the process to trying to build a tiny house (on wheels) to place on that land.  I've saved enough to get the ball rolling, but not to the point where the house will be livable yet.  Some friends and fans, having heard about my dream, have donated some money to add to the building fund and have suggested crowd sourcing to see if others would like to be part of helping me fulfill this dream.  Most people who know me know that I have a hard time asking for help, however if help is offered I'm slowly learning to accept such kindness as not part of my weakness but the generosity of the giver.  If you are interested in giving with any amount large or small please contact me on email: antoinedielmusic@gmail.com
